EAMONN Holmes has expressed his fury over the backlash over his holiday with his new partner following his split with wife Ruth Langsford.
The former This Morning host took to his Instagram page to give his backing to followers who fought his corner online amid the turmoil.
Eamonn, 64, was again slammed as “disrespectful” after posing with model Kate Beckinsale, 51, in a variety of cheeky poses days after he arrived back from Ibiza.
Earlier this month, the GB News anchor was seen on holiday with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, in Spain – with pictures capturing him putting his hand on the marriage counsellor’s bum.
After a slew of criticism, the Northern Irish broadcaster has reacted.
One fan took to his Instagram comments to write: “So many nasty comments! If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all …”
Eamonn showed his agreement as he hit the red heart ‘like’ icon in agreement.
He did the same on a remark which stated: “Everyone learn to be kind with the comments on here.
“Just leave him alone.”
Alongside a snap showing him with actress Kate, whose father was Porridge actor Richard Beckinsale, one wrote: “Not interested in the stupid comments, lets remember the amazing Richard Beckinsale.”
Again, Eamonn hit the love button to show his support, with the profile confirming “heart by author.”
It came after his pal Kerry Katona admitted she “felt bad” for his ex Ruth – yet admitted she understood his new relationship as a “coping mechanism.”
Mum of one Ruth recently sparked fan concern with her appearance – with fans speculating she had been sobbing before her Loose Women presenting role.
She also complained its “not my day” in another worrying upload.
Yet showing she has strength through the sadness, she has since hired a fierce divorce lawyer.
A source recently told MailOnline that Eamonn’s public holiday with his new girlfriend – which saw him arrive at the airport with his crutches and walker – had left Ruth “shocked.”
