RUTH Langsford is sprucing up her life now that her marriage to wheelchair-bound Eamonn Holmes is firmly behind her.
Not only has she ripped out his old stair lift from their former marital home, but Ruth is also cultivating a glamorous and fashion-forward new look, as Eamonn moves on with his new partner Katie Alexander, 42.

On Saturday, Ruth met friends for lunch at the lavish seafood restaurant Scotts in Richmond. Before leaving, she shared her self-styled look with her followers on social media.
Taken from her QVC range, Ruth wore a stylish outfit including a black leather shacked, white shirt, pinstripe wide, leg trousers and wedge trainers. Captioning the photo she simply wrote: “Casual lunch.”
Then on Sunday morning when the weather turned, the 64 year-old showed her followers how to look stylish in the rain on her dog walk with Maggie, wearing an Adidas cap, fitted jacket, and trainers.
Her hot new look comes after it was revealed that she chose to rid the Surrey home she once shared with Eamonn of the £2000 stairlift that he relied onto get around the £3.5 million Surrey Mansion.
Insiders suggest that this has been Ruth’ special brand of revenge, after Eamonn has wasted no time in flaunting his new relationship with a woman, 22 years his junior.
Indeed Eamonn has been spotted out and about in Ibiza with his new squeeze, as well as openly parading his new relationship while Ruth has maintained a classy and dignficed silence.
But now that Eamonn was reportedly due to return to the Weybridge property to collect the last of his belongings, Ruth was said to take great pleasure in dismantling the stairlift ahead of his visit.
A source told the mail that Ruth wasn’t at home when Eamonn returned and she hadn’t told him that the stairlift was gone.
The source told the publication: “Ruth has remained quiet and classy.
“Even when people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way.
“But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. Ruth doesn’t need it.
“She’s super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably
would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he
needed for the holiday.
“The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them.
“It might seem petty but Ruth’s friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride. You can imagine how furious Eamonn was.
“He was probably expecting to be able to use the stairlift to get his
stuff and quickly get out again and pack for his holiday.
“It has been humiliating for her to see Eamonn and Katie together
– and that was before the cringe photos while they were on holiday.
“She must be thrilled that she did it after seeing those photos.”
The Sun has contacted representatives for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes for comment.
The stairlift was first installed in the pair’s property in January 2023 during his recovery from a slipped disc and a dislocated pelvis which caused him severe back pain.
Just last week, The Sun told how Ruth had called in a fierce divorce lawyer in the wake of her split from Eamonn.
