Bruce Willis’ daughter raises alarm about his well-being after referring to her most recent present for him as “the final one”: “All I can do is hope he still knows who I am.”

As Bruce Willis approaches a major milestone—his 70th birthday—his family is rallying together to celebrate the iconic actor’s life,

despite the challenges he’s facing due to dementia.

The actor’s daughter, Scout Willis, recently shared insight into the family’s plans for this special occasion, emphasizing the unity and support that define their bond.

Scout, 33, who is the daughter of Willis and actress Demi Moore,

opened up about the family’s close-knit dynamic at the Cure Addiction Now fundraising event held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The event, which raised an impressive $800,000 for substance use disorder research,

provided Scout with an opportunity to reflect on her family’s strength as they navigate this difficult time in their lives.

When asked about the family’s plans for Bruce’s birthday, Scout explained, “We are a huge unit. We are very supportive of one another, and it’s sort of like ironclad… we are so loving with one another. I think that is the foundation of everything we do.” This sentiment highlights the unwavering support they continue to provide Bruce as he battles frontotemporal dementia, a condition he was diagnosed with after stepping away from his acting career in 2022 due to an aphasia diagnosis.

The Willis family has long been known for their strong connections, despite the complexities that life has thrown their way. Scout’s remarks come as her mother, Demi Moore, is enjoying a resurgence in her career. Recently, Moore was nominated for a prestigious Golden Globe for her role in the sci-fi horror film The Substance. Scout expressed immense pride for her mother’s achievements, especially in light of the personal sacrifices she has made throughout her career.

“It means everything to me because my mom is one of my favorite people on earth, and I’m so deeply proud of her,” Scout shared. She went on to explain how Moore’s work, particularly in The Substance, has resonated deeply with her. “I have watched the amount of work that she’s put in, and I’ve watched different moments where I think she’s not been recognized for these really pivotal, culturally shifting moments that she’s been a part of.”

Scout’s deep admiration for her mother shines through as she also spoke about the vulnerability and strength Moore exhibits, especially in her recent roles. Moore’s contributions to film and the personal growth she has experienced have become particularly meaningful as the family faces the challenges of caring for Bruce.

Demi Moore has remained an integral part of Bruce’s life despite their divorce over two decades ago. The actress has consistently supported her ex-husband, visiting him weekly as he deals with dementia. In a recent interview with Variety, Moore explained, “We will always be a family, just in a different form. For me, there was never a question. I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love.”

Moore’s dedication to Bruce underscores the importance of family and love, even after life’s changes. She also emphasized how essential it is to find a healthy way to co-parent, stating that it’s possible to navigate life after divorce with mutual respect and understanding. She hopes that their example of co-parenting with love serves as encouragement to others who may face similar challenges.

The Willis family continues to stand strong together, supporting one another through every trial. Scout, alongside her sisters Rumer and Tallulah, remains steadfast in ensuring that their father feels loved and cherished as he faces his diagnosis. Earlier this month, Rumer, 36, shared an update on her father’s health, revealing that Bruce is “doing great” and that their family is truly united in supporting him.

“The way that we rally around each other, it’s so lovely,” Rumer said during an appearance on Loose Women. “Because we really are a unit.” This sense of togetherness is evident in the way the family has come together not just to support Bruce but also to celebrate his legacy and the enduring love that exists between them all.

As Bruce Willis prepares to celebrate his 70th birthday, the love and care from his family is evident. Despite the difficult journey ahead, the Willis family is proving that love, support, and unity are the ultimate foundation for overcoming life’s challenges. Their unwavering commitment to each other serves as a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from family bonds.
