A leaked video from a crew member of The Chase shows Bradley Walsh reportedly mistreating contestants, resulting in his removal from the program.

Bradley Walsh has been a staple on ITV’s The Chase for 15 years, but the beloved host has finally revealed the one scenario that could push him to walk away from the hit quiz show.

At 64 years old, Bradley has no immediate plans to step down from his long-running role.

However, in a recent interview, he admitted there is one situation that could force his hand and bring an end to his time as the face of the popular game show.

The Only Reason Bradley Would Leave

Since The Chase first aired in 2009, Bradley has become synonymous with the show,

guiding contestants through nerve-wracking questions while keeping audiences entertained with his humor and quick wit.

His charismatic hosting has helped the program remain one of ITV’s most-watched daytime shows.

When asked about his future on The Chase, Bradley made it clear that he has no intention of quitting unless the audience loses interest.

“Until people say they’ve had enough and start switching off, I’ll do it,” he stated. “We’ve had such an extraordinary time together. It’s the best job in the world.”

As long as the ratings remain strong and viewers continue to tune in, Bradley is happy to stay at the helm. His love for the show and appreciation for its loyal audience make it unlikely that he will step away anytime soon.

From Pilot Episode to TV Success

Bradley’s journey with The Chase began even before it hit TV screens, as he was involved in the pilot episode filmed in 2008. Back then, the show only had two of its now-iconic Chasers: Shaun Wallace and Mark Labbett.

Reflecting on those early days, Bradley recalled how quiz shows were often short-lived, making him initially skeptical about its potential success.

“The audience was made up of ITV bosses, and they found someone in the office to be a contestant,” he explained.

However, as he observed the format and found his own approach to hosting, he realized The Chase had something special.

“Straight away, I took the contestant’s side. I saw the Chasers as these big, all-knowing, bully types, so I started taking the mickey out of them,” he said.

This lighthearted approach helped set The Chase apart from other quiz shows. By playfully teasing the Chasers when they got a question wrong, Bradley added an extra layer of entertainment that resonated with audiences.

Why The Chase Works So Well

Unlike many traditional quiz shows, The Chase gives Bradley the freedom to improvise, making his hosting style unique.

“Normally with a quiz show, you’re handcuffed to the format, but this meant I could go off script and improvise,” he explained.

The combination of intense trivia, fast-paced gameplay, and Bradley’s comedic timing has played a huge role in the show’s enduring success.

“It was like doing stand-up in the middle of a quiz show, which I loved. So right from that very first run-through, I thought this could be special,” he added.

A TV Legend with No Plans to Retire

Bradley’s television career spans decades, with acting roles in Doctor Who and Coronation Street, as well as hosting gigs on Blankety Blank and Wheel of Fortune. However, The Chase remains one of his most defining and successful projects.

The show’s popularity has led to multiple spin-offs, including The Celebrity Chase and Beat The Chasers, further cementing its place as a fan favorite.

Despite his numerous projects, Bradley remains committed to The Chase as long as viewers continue to enjoy it. His enthusiasm for the show and its contestants makes it clear that he has no intention of stepping down—unless, of course, the audience decides otherwise.

For now, fans can rest assured that Bradley Walsh isn’t going anywhere. As long as the show maintains its loyal following, he will continue to bring his humor, charm, and expertise to one of TV’s most beloved quiz shows.
