Coleen Nolan has praised her close friend Ruth Langsford for her ‘dignified’ attitude since her split from husband Eamonn Holmes.
Ruth, 64, split from the broadcaster, also 64, in May after 14 years of marriage, with Eamonn seen packing on the PDA with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, in Ibiza last week.
Ruth returned to her ITV show Loose Women last week after a four month absence, and her co-star Coleen has now gushed how well her pal is handling everything.
‘I will say from a friend’s point of view is, I’ve never met anyone that has handled something with so much dignity and pride,’ Coleen, who has been through two divorces herself, said.

She added: ‘She’s just such a lady, more of a lady then I’ll ever be, I would’ve spilled my guts right now.’
‘I’ve given her advice but she doesn’t listen to me, I’m going, ‘How can you not say anything?’ But I don’t need to give her advice,’ she revealed to Woman Magazine.
Meanwhile Eamonn has been slammed by fans for a ‘disrespectful’ Instagram post this week.
After being ‘social media friends’ for many years, Kate Beckinsale finally got to meet her idol Eamonn, with the pair posing for a beaming snap together on Monday.
The actress, 51, who has battled a series of health issues in recent months, crossed paths with the GB News star at a London Fashion Week event.
Posting the snap on his Instagram, Eamonn captioned the post: ‘After years of being SM friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress @KateBeckinsale.’
This is not the first time that Kate had showed her appreciation for Eamonn, with the star also appearing in a fun snap, where she pretended to lick a mask of his face.
Eamonn himself reposted the image on New Year’s Day, with the caption: ‘Looks like the secret is out about @katebeckinsale and me.

Eamonn, who hadn’t posted on his Instagram grid for over a month prior to the Kate snap, was met with a stream of angry comments though.
Some confused fans failed to recognise film star Kate, with one follower writing: ‘Ruth has shown so much dignity. Eammon is disrespectful flaunting his floozy!’
Another said: ‘You have destroyed Ruth and your beautiful son Jack, I don’t think you will find happiness.’
‘Publicity stunt! Nothing more! Grow up Eamonn. Trying make your wife jealous with a younger model! Cringe.’
Many others though rushed to defend the GB News star with one pointing out: ‘Jeez people it’s his friend he is allowed friends no need to be nasty on here.’
Eamonn arrived back in the UK on Sunday with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, after the couple spent the last week on a luxury romantic break together.
