Denise Welch from Loose Women is receiving significant criticism after seemingly SUPPORTING criminals during a live broadcast: “They don’t deserve to be treated like this!”

The Loose Women panel was full of fiery exchanges today (February 25) as Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter found themselves at odds over new police legislation.

The debate quickly escalated as the two strong-minded panelists clashed over the effectiveness of the recently announced law,

which allows police officers to search properties for stolen items without requiring a warrant if the stolen goods have been geolocated.

Joining them on the panel were Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan, who watched as the discussion became more intense.

While the panelists all supported the need for stronger measures against crime, Denise and Janet had very different views on how these issues should be tackled.

Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter Face Off Over Crime and Justice

As the conversation kicked off, Denise expressed her frustration, stating that while she agreed with the new legislation, she didn’t believe it would deter people from committing crimes.

“I’m glad about the new laws,” Denise admitted, “but I don’t think it gives any real incentive for people to stop committing crimes.”

Janet, on the other hand, had a different concern. While she acknowledged that action was needed, she questioned the effectiveness of this particular method. She argued that criminals would simply get rid of any incriminating evidence if they knew police were coming.

“If someone sees the police coming, they’re just going to dispose of the evidence,” Janet pointed out, challenging the practicality of the law.

The debate then shifted towards the broader issue of youth crime and how to prevent young people from getting involved in criminal activities. The panel recognized that, despite new regulations being introduced, nothing seemed to be truly solving the problem.

Denise Welch Suggests Emigrating, Janet Street-Porter Fires Back

As the discussion continued, Denise made a bold statement that set off a stronger reaction from Janet.

“Does it not make you want to emigrate?” she asked. “I know it’s a pipe dream, and we always talk about it, but there are so many people I know who are genuinely considering it.”

Janet’s facial expression immediately revealed her disapproval. When Denise noticed, she called it out, laughing, “Oh, Janet’s face!”

Janet wasted no time in responding, firmly stating her belief that Denise’s view was unfair.

“Selfish. That is so selfish,” Janet declared. “If you don’t like the country you’re in, then do something about it yourself.”

Denise, clearly taken aback, quickly fired back, raising her voice in frustration.

“I’m trying to!” she exclaimed. “In this country, we respect the criminal’s human rights more than the victim’s.”

As Janet attempted to reinforce her point, Denise continued to argue that for many people, leaving the country seemed like a viable option. She interrupted several times, passionately explaining why she believed emigration was something worth considering.

Janet, refusing to back down, tried to bring the conversation back to her original argument.

“People need to change things themselves and stop whinging,” she insisted.

Denise, however, wasn’t about to let Janet have the last word. In a moment of playful sarcasm, she turned to her co-panelist and quipped, “Well, why don’t you be Prime Minister? I’ve said that before.”

Ruth Langsford Ends the Debate with a Lighthearted Remark

As the debate began to wind down, it was clear that both Denise and Janet were unwilling to budge on their perspectives. Before things could escalate any further, host Ruth Langsford stepped in to bring the discussion to a close.

“Janet for Prime Minister,” Ruth joked, easing the tension and smoothly transitioning the show to a different topic.

Despite their heated disagreement, the Loose Women panel is known for its lively debates, and today’s episode was no exception. While Denise and Janet may not see eye to eye on the issue of crime and emigration, their passionate discussion certainly made for an entertaining segment.

As always, Loose Women continues to bring bold opinions to the table, sparking important conversations that resonate with viewers. Whether it’s politics, crime, or social issues, the panelists never shy away from sharing their unfiltered thoughts—even when it leads to fiery exchanges like this one.
