Myleene Klass, a member of Loose Women, recently revealed the unsettling actions of a burglar who broke into her home during the night and engaged with her infant.

Loose Women star Myleene Klass has shared the chilling details of the moment she was robbed in her own home while she was a new mother.

Speaking on the ITV panel show, the 46-year-old musician and presenter recounted the terrifying ordeal, revealing how she instinctively fought back to protect her baby.

Klass opened up about her experience as the panel discussed the recent burglary at Towie star Mark Wright and Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan’s £3.5 million mansion.

The couple, expecting their first child, were forced to barricade themselves in their bedroom as masked intruders attempted to break in.

The discussion prompted Klass to share her own harrowing encounter with home invasion.

A Mother’s Worst Nightmare

Klass recalled that at the time of the robbery, she was home alone with her newborn daughter, who was asleep in her cot. Describing the unsettling sequence of events, she revealed that she was on the phone with a friend when she first noticed something unusual.

“I saw a shadow go past,” she explained. At first, she dismissed it as a cat triggering the security lights. However, when a second shadow appeared—clearly a man—her instincts told her something was very wrong.

“I said to my friend, ‘I think there’s someone trying to come into the house,’” Klass recounted. Her friend, listening in real-time, immediately panicked. But Klass, trying to stay composed, urged her to stay quiet while she assessed the situation.

Facing the Intruders

What started as a creeping suspicion quickly turned into a terrifying reality. Checking the security cameras, Klass saw more than one person outside.

“I looked at the security camera and I could see there was a van as well,” she recalled. “That’s three people that I’d figured out were trying to come into the house.”

The gravity of the situation set in—she was alone, a new mother, and about to be targeted by multiple intruders. Fear turned to instinct as she realized she had to act fast.

Fighting Back in the Face of Danger

Describing her immediate reaction, Klass said something primal took over. Without hesitation, she began screaming at the top of her lungs, making as much noise as possible.

“My girlfriend later told me I sounded like an animal,” she shared. “She said, ‘I’ve never heard you sound like that before.’”

Her loud, frenzied screams sent the intruders running. “I raised all kinds of hell! I went mad—they must have wondered who on earth’s house they were trying to break into. I chased them off the property.”

Though she successfully scared them away, the reality of the situation took time to fully sink in. The police arrived swiftly, thanks to her friend’s quick thinking in calling them as the incident unfolded.

A Changed Perspective on Home Security

Since the terrifying break-in, Klass has taken home security incredibly seriously. Now a mother of three, she has implemented strict safety measures to protect her family.

“My kids will tell you all about it—internal door locks, security,” she explained. “You try and take as many precautions as you can.”

She has also made sure her children know what to do in case of an emergency. “I tell my kids, ‘This is what you do if someone comes in. This is where we go.’”

The Growing Concern Over Home Burglaries

Klass’s experience highlights the frightening reality of home invasions, particularly for women and parents. Her story, shared in the wake of Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s recent ordeal, serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of home security.

For Klass, the robbery was a wake-up call—one that has shaped the way she protects her home and family to this day. Her bravery and quick thinking in the face of danger not only prevented a potentially worse outcome but also reinforced the power of instinct when facing a threat.

While no one ever expects to be targeted, Klass’s story underscores the importance of being prepared. Her terrifying experience is one she’ll never forget, but it has made her stronger, more aware, and determined to ensure her family is always protected.
