Ruth Langsford broke down while sharing that her mother is back home after a terrifying fall, BUT admitted something still deeply troubles her.

Television presenter Ruth Langsford has provided fans with a heartfelt update on her mother, Joan, after she was involved in a concerning fall earlier this week.

Langsford, known for her role on *This Morning* and as a regular face on *Loose Women*, shared the news via social media,

expressing her relief that Joan is on the mend after what she described as a “horror fall.”

The incident occurred when Langsford’s mother, who is in her 80s, experienced a significant fall that left both Ruth and her family members understandably worried.

Although the details of the fall remain private, Ruth’s message to her followers reassured fans that Joan’s injuries were not as severe as initially feared.

Joan was taken to the hospital following the fall to undergo a series of tests and checks, and Ruth expressed her gratitude for the quick medical attention her mother received.

“Thanks to everyone for your lovely messages of support,” Langsford wrote on social media. “My mum is doing much better after a fall earlier this week.

It was a scary moment for all of us, but thankfully, she’s okay, and the doctors have given her the all-clear. She’s now resting and getting the care she needs.”

The post was met with an outpouring of well-wishes from Langsford’s fans, who have followed her career and personal life for years. Many sent messages of encouragement, relieved to hear that Joan was on the road to recovery. The news of the fall comes as a reminder of the challenges that come with aging, and how important it is for families to remain vigilant when it comes to the health and safety of elderly loved ones.

For Ruth Langsford, the incident has been a difficult one to navigate, as she is incredibly close to her mother. Joan has always been a prominent figure in Ruth’s life, with the presenter frequently sharing stories about her mother’s warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor on social media and in interviews. In one previous appearance on *Loose Women*, Ruth shared that Joan had been a huge source of support throughout her career and personal life. This fall has, understandably, been a testing time for Ruth, but her strength and resolve are evident as she continues to be a source of comfort to her mother.

While Joan’s recovery is ongoing, Ruth has emphasized the importance of family support. She thanked her husband, *This Morning* co-presenter Eamonn Holmes, for being by her side throughout the ordeal. Holmes, who is known for his own close-knit family ties, has been a steady presence for Ruth and has supported her through the emotional rollercoaster of watching a loved one recover from such an incident.

“Eamonn has been amazing through all of this. We’re both just so grateful for the care Mum is receiving and the support from our wonderful family and friends,” Langsford said in a follow-up message.

Langsford’s fans have also rallied around her, offering messages of understanding and advice from their own personal experiences with aging parents. Many noted how important it is to take extra precautions in the home to prevent falls, especially for older adults, who can be at greater risk for injury. Ruth has previously spoken about the challenges of caring for elderly parents and how important it is to keep them safe and comfortable, especially as they grow older.

The fall has also led Langsford to reflect on the importance of health and safety measures within the home. In an earlier interview, she explained how she has made adaptations to ensure her mother’s living environment is safe, from installing handrails to checking for potential hazards. Ruth has long been an advocate for maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, and she is committed to ensuring that her family members have the best care possible, both physically and emotionally.

As Joan continues to recover, Langsford has made it clear that she will be focused on her mother’s well-being and healing. Ruth has taken some time off from her regular television commitments to be with her mother during this difficult period. She has reassured fans that she will return to her shows once Joan’s recovery is well underway.

Ruth’s candidness about her family’s situation has resonated with many, as viewers often feel a sense of connection with her as a public figure who shares personal moments in a genuine way. Fans have expressed admiration for Ruth’s transparency and are thankful to hear that Joan is making progress after the fall.

As Ruth Langsford navigates this challenging time, her supporters remain by her side, hoping for a swift and full recovery for her beloved mother. With her strong family bond and the outpouring of support from those who care about her, it’s clear that Joan is in good hands and will continue to receive the love and care she needs during her recovery.
