Savannah Guthrie from TODAY is left feeling deceived by her husband after a video emerges that depicts her engaging in transactions with an enigmatic group in order to boost her career.

Fans of the Today show were left in awe after Savannah Guthrie’s two children, Vale and Charley, took center stage in a heartwarming interview with their mother.

The segment, which aired on Today, featured the siblings asking their mom about her new children’s book, Mostly What God Does Is Love You.

The sweet exchange quickly won over viewers, with many praising the young interviewers for their natural charm and well-thought-out questions.

A Special Interview with Mom

Savannah Guthrie’s latest book aims to celebrate the beauty of the world, the wonders of nature, and, most importantly, the unconditional love of God.

For this unique interview, her 10-year-old daughter, Vale, stepped into the role of interviewer, kicking off the discussion just as a Today segment would—sitting across from her mother in a professional setup.

Vale started by asking a deeply personal question: Did you talk to God when you were my age?

Savannah’s response was both heartfelt and nostalgic. “I do remember talking to God when I was your age,” she shared, commending her daughter for such an insightful question. She reflected on her childhood prayers, explaining that she would ask for good grades on tests or specific Christmas presents, but also confided in God about her fears and worries.

She continued, “I guess that’s why it’s so important to me to tell you and Charley about Him, because I hope you’re having that conversation too.”

Why Faith Matters to Savannah

Vale followed up with another meaningful question: Why is it so important for you to teach us about God?

Savannah, who has always been open about her faith, shared that her belief in God has been a guiding force throughout her life. “Even in times when I felt alone, I could always call on God,” she explained. She expressed her hope that by teaching her children about God’s love, they would carry that faith with them just as she has.

The touching moment between mother and daughter highlighted Savannah’s deep-rooted spirituality and the role it plays in her parenting.

A Sweet Sibling Moment

As the interview wrapped up, Savannah’s eight-year-old son, Charley, made a surprise appearance, adding an extra dose of cuteness to the segment. He didn’t ask any questions, but instead offered a simple yet adorable remark: “Good job, Mom.”

The moment was a fan favorite, with viewers loving the warmth and genuine affection between Savannah and her kids.

Fans React to Vale and Charley’s TV Moment

Once the clip of the interview was shared on Today’s official Instagram page, fans couldn’t help but gush over Savannah’s kids.

“She is a natural! She gets it from her momma!!” one viewer commented, while another wrote, “She was amazing! Her questions were beautiful!”

Others agreed that Vale showed impressive interviewing skills. “Wow. She was amazing! Watch out, Today!” one fan joked. Another called it the “BEST interview,” praising the young girl’s poise and confidence.

The heartfelt moment between Savannah and her children resonated with many, not just because of their adorable dynamic but also because of the deeper conversation about faith and family.

Savannah Guthrie’s Strong Faith

Savannah has never shied away from discussing the importance of faith in her life. In a 2015 interview with Guideposts, she shared how her belief in God helps her navigate the challenges of motherhood.

“If anything happened to [Vale], I would be truly devastated,” she admitted at the time. “It’s my faith and trust in God that allows me to just carry on.”

She also acknowledged that parenting is no easy task and that she relies on her faith for guidance. “I’m just starting out on this journey, but I know that throughout Vale’s life, I’ll be turning to God a lot.”

A Memorable Moment for the Guthrie Family

Savannah Guthrie’s book, Mostly What God Does Is Love You, carries a powerful message about God’s love, and there was no better way to promote it than with the help of her own children. Vale and Charley not only showcased their mom’s work but also demonstrated the values she has instilled in them—curiosity, faith, and kindness.

With Vale proving to be a natural interviewer and Charley providing the perfect closing remark, fans are already wondering if the Guthrie kids might have a future in television. But for now, they’re just two loving siblings, proud of their mom’s new book, and enjoying a special moment together on Today.
