Tasha Ghouri from Strictly stuns fans by claiming that the executives STRIPPED HER of the Glitterball trophy in her latest interview: “They took it away for her…”

Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri Reflects on Show Loss and Celebrates Tour Victory

Tasha Ghouri has opened up about her Strictly Come Dancing journey, revealing that while she was disappointed to miss out on the Glitterball trophy,

she believes Chris McCausland absolutely deserved to win. Despite the loss, the Love Island star still walked away victorious,

winning most of the audience votes during the show’s nationwide tour and securing her own special trophy.

Tasha’s Strictly Journey: A Dream Come True

The 26-year-old reality star made it to the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2024 alongside her professional dance partner, Aljaz Skorjanec,

who had returned to the show after a two-year break. The duo wowed both the judges and viewers with their performances, making them strong contenders for the coveted Glitterball trophy.

However, it was comedian Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell who ultimately won the series. Chris made history as the first blind contestant to compete on Strictly, and his journey deeply resonated with fans.

Despite missing out on the top spot, Tasha has no regrets. In a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, she reflected on the experience and praised Chris and Dianne’s partnership.

“I think Chris absolutely deserved that trophy. I always said Chris and Dianne’s partnership was just incredible, and I felt so honoured to be there.”

Winning the Glitterball on Tour

Although she didn’t take home the Strictly title, Tasha found redemption during the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, where she competed alongside Aljaz in 35 arena shows across the UK. The tour allowed fans to vote for their favorite pair each night, and Tasha and Aljaz won the majority of performances, ultimately securing their own Glitterball trophy.

Speaking about the achievement, she said:

“But we’ve both got one, which is lovely!”

For Tasha, the opportunity to take part in Strictly was particularly special, given her background in professional dance before she found fame on Love Island in 2022.

Struggling With the Strictly ‘Bubble’ Ending

Like many contestants, Tasha admitted that adjusting to life after Strictly was challenging. The intense schedule and close friendships formed throughout the competition made the experience feel like a bubble, which suddenly burst once the series ended.

“You’re in a bubble for six months, and Strictly was honestly a dream come true for me. You form such great friendships, you’re in this bubble, and all of a sudden, it just stops. This chapter’s ending, but I’m so grateful to have been a part of it!”

Despite the bittersweet farewell, Tasha remains appreciative of the opportunity and has fond memories of her time on the show. Her success on the tour also proved to be a satisfying way to close this chapter, allowing her to walk away with a well-deserved win.

What’s Next for Tasha?

Following her impressive run on Strictly, Tasha is keeping busy with new projects and opportunities. While she has not yet revealed her next career move, fans are eager to see what’s next for the talented dancer and TV personality.

One thing is clear—Tasha Ghouri has cemented herself as a fan favorite on Strictly, and whether it’s dancing or another venture, her journey is far from over.
