VIDEO: Ant McPartlin from Britain’s Got Talent could potentially NEVER make his comeback to the series after being taken to the hospital with a “b.l.o.o.d.y” face.

Ant McPartlin found himself needing medical attention after a stunt went awry during Britain’s Got Talent auditions in 2022.

The beloved TV presenter, best known as one-half of the iconic duo Ant and Dec, attempted to take part in a coconut-smashing act but ended up with a painful head injury instead.

A Painful Lesson in Coconut Breaking

During a segment of the show, Ant enthusiastically joined in on a stunt involving dozens of coconuts, unaware of the unintended consequences.

The 48-year-old initially attempted to break a coconut with his fist but quickly regretted his decision.

Wincing in pain, he warned the audience: “Do not punch coconuts, kids, it really hurts. I think I nearly broke my knuckle.”

Determined to try another approach, Ant then attempted to break the coconut with his forehead. Before anyone could stop him, he gave it a forceful headbutt. Turning to co-host Declan Donnelly, he quipped: “Why did you say forehead? Because I was bound to try.” However, what started as a humorous moment quickly took a turn when Dec noticed something alarming.

Blood, Bandages, and a Sense of Humor

It wasn’t until Dec pointed out that Ant was bleeding that the presenter realized he had sustained a cut to his forehead. Even in the face of injury, Ant remained in good spirits, laughing off the accident. Looking off-camera, he jokingly asked: “How irresponsible are you?”

Medics quickly rushed to assess the wound, providing him with first aid treatment. As they examined him, Ant made light of the situation, commenting: “This is very extreme for a little tap on the forehead.” Despite the injury, he was determined to continue filming and soon returned to the stage, ready to take on more antics.

BGT’s Return in 2025 with Exciting Additions

The latest season of Britain’s Got Talent is set to return in 2025 for its 18th series, bringing more jaw-dropping performances and unpredictable moments. As always, Ant and Dec will be back as the show’s hosts, continuing their long-standing tradition of keeping the audience entertained.

Joining them on the judging panel will be BGT veterans Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon, along with the newest addition, former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli. Adding to the excitement, popular YouTuber and musician KSI has been confirmed as a guest judge, bringing a fresh perspective to the talent competition.

Simon Cowell’s Brush with Danger on Set

Ant’s coconut mishap wasn’t the only dramatic moment from Britain’s Got Talent auditions. Simon Cowell, the show’s long-time judge and creator, recently shared a terrifying experience of his own.

The 65-year-old entertainment mogul recalled a near-death moment on set when he found himself lying next to watermelons as a contestant prepared to smash them with a sledgehammer. Speaking about the incident, Cowell admitted: “It’s that feeling when you kind of think somebody doesn’t want you on the show anymore. It was the closest, genuinely, where I’m thinking, ‘they actually want to kill me.’”

Cowell went on to describe how the contestant became visibly nervous, causing concern among the production team. “This guy got really nervous and he’d slipped and was shaking as he was smashing these watermelons,” he revealed.

Luckily, the show’s health and safety team intervened before anything went wrong. “The health and safety guys, normally quite annoying, actually stopped him. Thank God, they saved my life,” Cowell joked.

Fans Eagerly Await Britain’s Got Talent’s New Season

With these wild behind-the-scenes moments, it’s clear that Britain’s Got Talent continues to be full of surprises. Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season, where they can expect more unforgettable performances, hilarious interactions, and possibly a few more unexpected injuries—though hopefully none as painful as Ant’s coconut accident.

As always, Ant and Dec will be at the helm, keeping the energy high and the laughs coming, proving once again why they are one of the most beloved presenting duos on British television.
